Wiki Activity - (Due April 6) The goal of this assignment is to create a Wikipage with common activities for your target audiences. First go to ESLvideo.com and look around.The youngest person in the group will create a new page called ESL Video. Each member will create Two ESL—type video quizzes around a common theme or topic in your area. Topic? Your choice. You decide amongst yourselves and post the topic at the top of the page.
The first quiz will cover a recording or video* you locate on YouTube. Feel free to explore. If you are not an ESL teacher consider this—you may be teaching students with limited English skills and you can use this tool to create comprehension activities for them. In addition you will discover other ways to use this procedure and activity. I trust your creativity.
The second quiz will cover a recording or video* you create. This should be a new recording posted to YouTube. Then develop and instructional quiz to accompany it. Embed both creations on the ESL Wiki Page.
*Both videos must be Leveraged Examples as explained in Chapter 10.
Under each example you post give a one sentence summary of your leveraged example.
Then add another sentence about how this fits into e-Learning practice as described in Chapter 11.
